Dan Cammish:
“I’ve certainly had some great support. It’s been an amazing weekend and it’s a very special place. To take part at the circuit is a bit of a dream for me. After the first few laps in practice, I was feeling comfortable, and the time started to come. I was P3 and felt comfortable with the time and with the car. In qualifying, I was able to go P3 again and was only a tenth off the front row. When it came to the race it turned out to be the better place to be as I was able to jump Olsen into second place. Everyone knows it is incredibly difficult to overtake around Monaco so to be able to gain a place off the line was incredible.
“I was following [Michael] Ammamuller for the first few laps, which taught me some things that I didn’t know. I was comfortable with the pace though and managed to get the fastest lap. By the end of the race, we were comfortably keeping the pace and I was pulling away from Dennis [Olsen] in third place.
“It was unbelievable to be on the Monaco podium. It was incredibly special and a proud moment for the family and me. Hopefully, it will happen again soon”
