Dan Cammish:
“It is going to be a pleasure to represent Napa Racing UK on track this year and I think everyone is going to love the way the Ford Focus ST looks. I think it is exciting and has some great touches, like the honeycomb effect.
“Everything is coming together well. I’ve now spent a few days with the team and there is a lot of confidence coming from everyone. There are some really good people working hard behind the scenes, to make it the best season it can be.
“Ashley and I have spent a fair bit of time together and we are getting along really well. He has his own sim business and I’ve been doing some racing with him recently, which has been good fun. We’ve mostly competed in different places up to this point, but it has been enjoyable getting to know him better.
“I’m looking forward to getting in the car for the first time in March and getting started with our testing programme and, before we know it, the season will be upon us. It is going to be an exciting year and I think it will be very entertaining for the fans to watch.”
Dan Cammish is delighted to reveal the stunning livery which will adorn his 2022 Napa Racing UK Ford Focus ST, entered by Motorbase Performance in the British Touring Car Championship.
Fresh from his record-breaking third Porsche Carrera Cup GB title last season, Dan returns to the BTCC ready to mount a championship challenge after the heartbreak of missing out on his maiden series title in 2019 when a mechanical failure sent him into the barriers on the penultimate lap of the year.
For the 2022 campaign, the Yorkshireman will compete with the number nine adorning his Focus – a number which is important in the history of Napa Racing. Lining up alongside reigning series champion Ash Sutton, the duo will make a formidable line-up to launch the BTCC’s new hybrid era.
The eye-catching Napa livery, highlighting the number one brand of Alliance Automotive Group, will have its first on track laps in March as testing begins ahead of the keenly anticipated season opener at Donington Park over the weekend of April 23/24.

“Introducing NAPA Racing UK – what a fantastic livery! We’re all so pleased with how it’s come out, the car image, the launch and the general vibrancy brought to the grid by NAPA. Everyone at NAPA has been fantastic to work with, they’ve brought a new energy with them. Everything is bright and exciting and marks the perfect way to start this relationship with Motorbase in the BTCC.
“All of the guys and girls at Motorbase have been hard at work all winter with the development of the cars, which has been going on behind the scenes, and this is just part of what they’ve been working on. We are also aiming to hit the track for the first time with the 2022 car this week, so it’s all exciting stuff as we prepare for a huge season ahead.”
